As a frequency converter for 3-phase asynchronous squirrel cage motors, the Altivar
58 incorporates the latest technological developments such as 3rd generation Power Components,
etc. Robusts and compact, conforming to international standards, the Altivar 58 is a modular
product. Created from our experience of producing over several generations of speed controllers,
its functins meet the requirement of the most up-to-date applications, such as:
Material Handling (Conveyors, lifts, hoisting, etc.)
Textiles (ring frame, carding,combing)
Pumps & Blowers (for energy saving)
HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning)

The Altivar 58 is available in three versions for ease of integration into machines:
ATV-58HUXXXX standard speed controller with heatsink
ATV-58PUXXXX speed controller with base plate
ATV-58EUXXXX speed controller with IP55 / 65 Enclosure
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
controllers are available with & without integrated EMC filters. Incorporaating filters
into the speed controller facilitates machine installation and conformity for CE marking
purposes at low cost.
