Description :
System for precise temp. control of Hot Runner System [HRS] used in Plastic Injunction Moulds. It enhances the life of costly heaters & reduces the machine down time caused due to premature failure of heaters. The system comes in single or multi channel with capacity ranging from 1KW onwards. It comes in an elegantly powder coated panel with castor wheels & heavy-duty connector on the side for easy connection.
The cartridge heaters used in the HRS being hygroscopic by nature absorbs moisture, which can create short circuit & destroy the heater when full supply voltage is applied initially. This is taken care by our system by applying a reduced voltage initially till such time the moisture is backed out & no dampness remains. There after the phase angle fired thyristor circuit takes over the temp. control part.
There is no On /Off Cycle of heaters causing thermal shock & Controller ensures that just enough power is supplied to the heaters to maintain the set point. It also has provision for open loop control of heaters in the event of thermocouple failure.

Protection Features : Fuse of 0.5 A for protecting controller.
Short Circuit & Over Load Protection : Is provided by an MCB at Input
